Fluent French to business level essential.
Our client is looking for an experienced business developer/sales person to join the sales team in their busy travel agency, which offers bespoke tours to travellers from France and French speaking areas in Europe.
This role will suit someone who has several years proven experience in B2B sales / Account Management, building up contacts/relationships with existing and new clients at a senior level. Any experience within the U.K. travel industry, driving sales to U.K. and Irish travel destinations will be an added bonus.
Additionally, any previous experience of managing junior colleagues will be advantageous, as the ideal candidate will also be expected to supervise and mentor the company’s Operations Executives in the French team, when they undertake sales/promotional activities.
You will need to be 100% fluent in written and spoken French, plus have excellent written and spoken English.
Reporting to the Account Manager (France), you will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and prospects in the French speaking Market. Together with the Account Manager, you will have total responsibility for all confirmed travelling groups. You will be generating incremental revenue streams by cross-selling and up-selling from the existing and new customer base,increasing awareness of the Company and its offerings in France and elsewhere. You will manage all brochure and ad-hoc requests and ensure quotations are sent on time and answer clients’ expectations.
Office hours: Either 08:00 to 17:00, or 09:00 to 18:00 (on alternate weeks).
